Thx Todd. Strange play from the team this yr. Not really sure what the f...... problem is, but they need to fix what ever it is.

Its really becoming frustrating to understand why there seems to be no sense of urgency with this crew. 2 and a half periods of being out skated, out hustled, out worked...

On a positive note, Ritter was great, JG finally scored. Peters wasn't too happy despite the win but 2 points we sorely needed.

Oh and James Tanner is still an bumhole!

Chucky eluded to the problem in his interview - they are not playing for each other. There seems to be some broken team dynamics/relationships, or maybe its just shattered confidence. If you ask me even Gio wears a long face these days. One of the few players who doesn't look rattled is Monny… perhaps growing in to that alternate captain role more and more.

This team is broken cause of all the missed trades and the guys knowing they were and are shopped example Brodie Frolik and jankowski to lead the way this has messed with chemistry as well as Peters changing to often for to short of time let that poop gel !!

Missed trades? That assumption is there are/were trades to be made. I assume Frolik and Brodie would have been dealt if Tre could have made a deal that benefited the team beyond dumping salaries.
To me Jnakowski has some value but I doubt before this season there was much appetite to deal him. Now???

I think he's talking about Frolik, Janko and Brodie were all traded but fell through because a player used his no-trade clause...or didn't get the paper work done in time. So, all 3 know the team wanted to move them. Just kind of a weird feeling for everyone I think.

Man I think there is something off between JG and SM. Last year up until all star break it was poops and gigles and purple gatorade.

Ever since then they have not been having fun and it shows.

I’m a huge flames fan Jonny can play but I think he’s a little b*^ch !! He pouts and doesn’t like being called out , Monahan has evolved his game which is why it’s taking some time to get going and I think Jonny hates the fact he’s not as awesome as he thinks and if he’s doesn’t get on board and change where it’s needed like stop crying to the refs all the time he will get traded and that won’t break my heart

Sure hope not. He's the most talented guy on the team and nobody looks more unhappy when the team loses than him. Yeah, he gets a little whiny but so did Gretzky. IMO, him, Tkachuk and Lindholm are untouchable among the forwards....and probably Monahan.

For who?
No sense throwing sh!t out there unless you have ideas.
Let’s trade our best point producer for the last few years because I’m upset with him.
Doesn’t make sense to me.

Gaudreau 15 points in 18 games "slump" would not be a good time to trade him....why do fans have to be like this?

Player isn't perfect but he is a high end talent on a great contract

Ya, he is high end elite talent. We should enjoy that we get to watch him for the next few years. Probably gonna get $12+ and it prob won't be here.

Missing the point of my comments it doesn’t matter how cheap he is signed for or how good he is if he doesn’t want to be here or isn’t happy for whatever reason and cant take criticism when its given then what good is he to the Calgary Flames ?
I want him here but he needs to want that too and show it by getting along with the room and taking the criticism which is designed to make him a even better player,
This goes for the whole room get on board man up or there’s the door !!!

No one is saying the guy is not an elite talent. Just saying the guy typically disappears when things get tough. Tkachuk is clutch. JG not so much.

I don't think he disappears. Had a rough playoffs but he had a million chances, just couldn't find the back of the net. I think he's one of the most competitive guys on the team. Just my opinion.

People want change for the sake of change. I've seen people spouting off that he and other prominent Flames players have controlled substance issues just to give further reasons to get rid of him.

If 15 points in 18 games is a slump, I'll take it. I don't know why people want him to be physical or play a two-way game, either. He's not that player and he never will be and that's why Lindholm is a good player to keep Johnny with.

Unless you're in the room, you're making some absolutely MASSIVE assumptions. Who has offered criticism? Who said he doesn't want to be here? Who isn't he getting along with?

Not that I disagree that a change would be for the best if there is a big locker room issue, but hard to say that it's actually going on unless you're in there...
